Topic: Where can I get documentation for older versions of MDBootstrap?

DashMarketingGroup priority asked 1 year ago

I have encountered too many issues trying to get your 7.0 version of MDBootstrap working, so I need to revert back to 6.4.2. Do you provide documentation for older builds, or am I stuck having to use documentation for a version I'm not implementing? I am VERY disappointed that you released a version of MDBootstrap that broke all of my existing code and requires so much refactoring. Code that should work is not working, and nobody has any answers for how it will get fixed or when. Did anybody do any meaningful testing of this code before releasing it?

Thank you for reaching out regarding your experience with the recent update to MDB v7. Transitioning to a new major version requires introducing some changes to your project, but we are here to assist you with this process.

MDB follows the semantic versioning spec to keep the JavaScript ecosystem healthy and secure. In semantic versioning, a major version change (indicated by the change in the first digit in the version number) means there are substantial updates to an npm package that might require changes in your project.

To assist with this transition, we've prepared a comprehensive Migration Guide. This guide explains how you can adapt your project to MDB v7 seamlessly. Also, you can view all the specific updates in our Changelog, which details the changes in this version.

Please go through the migration guide to understand the changes and how to implement them in your project. If you encounter any issues or need further assistance, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help ensure a smooth transition to MDB v7.

If you still want to use version 6.4.2 you can use the legacy docs. Legacy docs are always linked in our changelog.
